  Mexican/American Names
  Hello.

I'm expecting twins in August and am still thinking of names.
I come from a Mexican family and want to keep the Mexican side of going so I am planning to call my daughter Gabriella. My husband comes from an American family and I wanted to keep the  American side going as well. A good old American name to call my son. If there are any names combined with both Mexican and American that would be great. I have thought of Alexander. I like this name but ideas are welcome. Any thoughts?

Thanks x

Hi, here's a few names Christopher, Nicholas, Stephen, Lachlan and William. I'm not sure if they fall into American names but orginate from the UK and Europe. Some are seen as standards in Australian culture so I assume the same would apply with America. Although I think your choice of Alexander is a good one - it flows nicely with Gabriella. Best of luck for the future.  :)
